Structura Announces Staff Promotions

Rockville, MD (May 10, 2016) – Management at Structura, a structural engineering firm with offices in Rockville and Baltimore, announce the promotions of three employees. Sadia Fatemi and Ashley Brammer have been promoted to Senior Project Engineers and Ryan Sarazen is now Associate.
In their new roles, Fatemi and Brammer will oversee engineering teams, providing guidance and managing progress on larger and more complex assignments. As an associate, Sarazen will continue to manage projects and lead Structura’s growing design teams as well as take a more active role in client relations, contract negotiations, and proposal preparation.

About Sadia Fatemi
Sadia Fatemi was hired by Structura in 2012 as a project engineer. Prior to joining the firm, she was a staff engineer at a structural engineering company based in Virginia. Fatemi has worked on a variety of building projects for Structura including 1244 South Capitol Street, Brightview Rockville Town Center and the upcoming renovation of the Harborplace buildings. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering with a specialization in structures from the Pennsylvania State University.
About Ashley Brammer, P.E., S.E.
Ashley Brammer came to Structura in 2014 as a project engineer. Prior to joining the firm, she was a senior engineer for an international engineering company based in Washington, D.C.  Brammer has worked on a variety of commercial, mixed-use, educational and residential projects with Structura, including the National Community Church’s Dream Center and St. John’s College High School. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. 
About Ryan Sarazen, P.E.
Ryan Sarazen joined the Structura team in 2008 as a staff engineer, and was promoted to project engineer then senior project engineer before being named an associate. He has been involved in the engineering of a variety of mixed-use, multi-family, commercial and educational projects including 800 and 900 North Glebe Road, Reston Station, 5333 Connecticut Avenue, Remington Row and Sagamore Distillery. Ryan holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architectural engineering as well as a minor in architectural studies from the Pennsylvania State University.
