The above named FAR Team created this design challenge based on a real client’s program and site provided by Brennan + Company. For the second year FAR has shifted the problem more towards design and reducing the advantages of certain CAD programs. The goal of this is making our state more competitive in the National Competition for this Architectural category and more in alignment with our profession. Six FAR volunteers served as judges for the competition. This is the sixth Skills USA state competition that FAR has actively supported.

Participating Students

Nine high school students from across the state, including four girls and five boys. They used the following programs: Revit (5), AutoCad (2) and Chief Architect (2). We awarded a 1st place Gold, a 2nd place Silver and a 3rd place Bronze. These three students will compete in the 52nd National Competition in Kentucky, June 20‐24.
