Wohlsen Project Manager Awarded Keystone Instructor of the Year and Wohlsen Apprentices Graduate

awards ceremony
Lancaster, PA (June 7, 2017) – Wohlsen Construction Company is excited to announce Project Manager, Ralph Kautz, was selected as the ABC Keystone Instructor of the Year. Kautz has been an instructor at the association for over four years, training ABC apprentices in the craftsmanship program that combines classroom learning with hands-on, in-the-field applications. The award is based on ratings and evaluations by the students and the apprenticeship committee.
In addition, two Wohlsen teammates, Declan Byrne and James Seefeldt, graduated from the ABC apprenticeship program. Both Byrne and Seefeldt are graduates from Thaddeus Stevens and started their careers with Wohlsen in 2015.
Kautz and Wohlsen’s graduating apprentices received recognition at the 2017 Apprenticeship Graduation & Craft Professionals of the Year Awards held on May 24th. In the face of the industry’s skilled labor shortage, we are proud to have teammates that excel in both teaching and learning these necessary trades.
