Baltimore, MD (September 11, 2017) – The Design Collective/Samaha joint venture was recently selected by Maryland Stadium Authority and Baltimore City Public Schools to provide design and construction administration services for the replacement of the existing Calvin M. Rodwell Elementary/Middle School, built in 1978.
The new school will be a three-section, Pre-K-8 of approximately 108,000 square feet. The site is a 3.2 acre parcel with a substantial grade change making it important to provide a compact and efficient design to maximize play areas for students. This project will seek LEED Silver certification.
