Baltimore, MD (November 9, 2017) –Hord Coplan Macht is pleased to announce that it was presented the WaveMaker award from ULI Baltimore for its design of the City Arts 2 apartment complex. This honor, given out at the annual conference of the same name, recognizes visionary direction and outstanding design quality for a Maryland real estate development completed in the past year. Projects considered for the WaveMaker award must be financially viable, have a healthy impact on its community, meet certain sustainability standards, and exemplify ambitious creativity.
City Arts 2 is an affordable-housing apartment building located in the heart of Baltimore’s art district and caters specifically to local artists. The 60-unit building is LEED-certified and was built only two blocks north from its extremely successful predecessor, City Arts, which opened in 2010.
