AIA Chesapeake Bay is seeking a qualified candidate with experience in member services, business operations, fundraising initiatives, membership growth and retention, and coordinating continuing education activities.
The Executive Director will aid and support Chapter members and the architectural community in their professional development. The ideal candidate has leadership skills in the areas of future visioning, strategic thinking, collaboration, communication, public speaking, writing, and event/program planning and implementation. Past experience with nonprofit organizations is preferred and desirable. Knowledge of architecture, art, related architectural design & urban design issues, and/or the built environment is ideal.
