Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Project Manager at Architecture by Design, Inc. Responsibilities include preparation of technical design documents (schematic through construction), interface with clients, consultants (MEP, Structural, etc.) and jurisdictional authorities, management of project team members, and construction administration. Other tasks include building code research, implementation of accessibility requirements, and coordinating any funding agency or green/energy certification requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing the preparation of technical design documents.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or manage project team members collaborating with you on a project.
- Experience working with engineering consultants (MEP, Structural, Civil, etc.)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018 or newer, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu. Working knowledge of Revit.
- Experience in the architectural or wood construction industry is preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in wood frame construction, with an emphasis on residential and light commercial construction
