Baltimore, MD (August 17, 2018) – Quinn Evans Architects, one of the nation’s leading architectural firms specializing in planning, design, and historic preservation, has announced that Nichole McGuire has joined the Baltimore office. McGuire will serve as marketing manager for the 30-person office, which has provided design services in Baltimore and throughout the region for nearly 40 years. The Baltimore office has been operating as Cho Benn Holback | a Quinn Evans Company since it was acquired by Quinn Evans Architects in May 2017.
McGuire has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and business development for architectural and engineering firms, with expertise in research, planning, and proposal production for projects in the educational, biotechnology/science, government, residential, and healthcare markets. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and a two-term past president of SMPS Maryland, where she has also served as special events chair and sponsorship chair. McGuire is also a member of the Association of School Business Officers and the Society of American Military Engineers.

The Baltimore office has completed a number of prominent projects in the region, including the renovation of the historic Lion Brothers building; the transformations of the Baltimore Center Stage, Everyman Theater, and Chesapeake Shakespeare Company Theater; the adaptive use of the Open Works maker space; and the modernization and expansion of the Dorothy I. Height Elementary School, all in the city of Baltimore.
Currently, the office is designing an adaptive use and renovation of the Phillips Packing House in Cambridge, Md., the renovation and expansion of the Cole Field House at the University of Maryland in College Park, Md., and Southern Views, a multifamily housing development in East Baltimore. The firm is also serving as associate architect on Beatty Development Group’s team for Amtrak’s redevelopment of Baltimore Penn Station.
