Washington, DC (October 11, 2018) — FILLAT+ Architecture is pleased to announce two new staff designers for our Washington, DC office – Nanchen Ma of Columbia University and Van Ly of Iowa State University.
Nanchen Ma completed a 5 year architecture Undergraduate degree at North China University of Technology in Beijing, China and just finished a 2 year Urban Planning Masters degree at Columbia University. Nanchen concentrates on exploring creative solutions for architectural and urban design and is very interested in visualizing graphic information in different ways.
Van Ly is a graduate of Iowa State University with a five-year Bachelor of Architecture Professional Degree. Van’s passion for people, space, and environment has motivated her to look into how human interact with the built environment and how to enhance living experience. Van is invested in environmental issues regarding natural resources, and resolving problems with sustainable design solutions.
Peter Fillat and the entire FILLAT+ team are excited to welcome both Nanchen and Van to our family, and are looking forward to creating meaningful architecture together.
