Baltimore, MD (February 18, 2019) – Wohlsen Construction Company and Springwell Senior Living recently celebrated the grand opening of The Homestead, a new state-of-the-art independent living community in Baltimore, Maryland.
The new 143,678 square foot facility was an expansion project situated on 15 acres of Springwell Senior Living’s existing campus in historic Mt. Washington. Construction began in April of 2017 and took 17 months to complete. A four-story independent living community connects to a two-story community center, offering about 100 new residences and a variety of recreational, wellness, dining, and entertainment spaces.
Wohlsen Construction provided pre-construction and construction management services and is proud to have partnered with RLPS Architects to build this new community for Springwell Senior Living and their residents.
