Baltimore, MD (July 25, 2019) – GWWO is excited to welcome Evan Greulich, AIA; Nia Young, Finn Shamieh; and Eric Weed to the firm!
A curious and dedicated architect, Evan Greulich comes to GWWO with a background in sustainable design as well as experience with diverse project types. A late-comer to architecture, he realized his passion for buildings while teaching in Beirut, Lebanon, and has since relished practicing holistic design in a variety of settings. Evan earned his Master of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, where he majored in history and middle eastern studies.
Nia Young returns to GWWO after demonstrating her dedication to the profession during a student internship. She continues to display strong technical skills and a great work ethic. Nia has shared her passion for design with the community by teaching design courses to K-12 students and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. She holds a Master of Architecture from Florida International University where she also served as president of the National Organization of Minority Architect Students.
Finn Shamieh joins GWWO shortly after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland College Park where he gained experience designing an aerotropolis, community center, commercial facility, and an apartment building. His work emphasizes the use of modern technology while incorporating green design.
With international industry experience, Eric Weed joins GWWO with a wide range of architectural knowledge. His background includes project types such as civic buildings, boutique restaurants, residential, and commercial projects. Eric holds both Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science degrees from Ball State University.
