National Endowment for the Arts Supports Baltimore Architecture Foundation with $20,000 grant [Press Release]

Baltimore, MD— The Baltimore Architecture Foundation is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of a $20,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support Doors Open Baltimore.

“This is our first grant from the NEA and we are so pleased to have their support,” said Nathan Dennies, Associate Director of BAF. “BAF is committed to educating the public about design and Baltimore’s architectural legacy, and Doors Open Baltimore accomplishes that on a large scale.”

The National Endowment for the Arts is the only arts funder in America—public or private—that provides access to the arts in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. Each year, the NEA awards thousands of grants to provide all Americans with diverse opportunities for arts participation.

The 8th Annual Doors Open Baltimore is planned for October 2021. Funds will support both in-person and virtual programming.

Baltimore Architecture Foundation is part of a class of grantees spanning 14 artistic disciplines in communities throughout the United States, totaling $27,562,040 in funding. BAF congratulates fellow Maryland grantees!
