SUMMARY:Delivering Winning Virtual Shortlist Presentations
DESCRIPTION:AIA Baltimore Practice Committee Continues their COVID-19 Resource Webinar Series…\n\n\nShortlist presentations are the make it or break it phase of any pursuit. It’s the moment when your team can connect with decision makers\, demonstrate expertise\, communicate approach to solving client issues\, and develop rapport. Driving these points is enough to induce stress in even the most seasoned technical professional. In the new normal – communicating those points is simply not enough. To win\, teams participating in VIRTUAL shortlist presentations must deliver in new\, more choreographed ways. This virtual learning session will dive into techniques that will help teams deliver a winning and fully virtual shortlist presentation. Clue: Just using the same approach as that for in-person shortlists presentations will not deliver a win. \nLearning Objectives: \n• Develop presentations with a virtual mindset and create rapport with meeting participants \n• Activate transitions that work (and letting silence happen) \n• Foster Q&A engagement \n• Acknowledge Visuals vs. face time – they both matter \n Presenter\n \nSylvia Montgomery \n  \nSylvia Montgomery \nCPSM\, Business Development Manager \nTimmons Group \nFor the past 15 years\, Sylvia Montgomery has helped architecture\, engineering and construction firms elevate their expertise and position themselves in the marketplace. Her passion for client perception research provides a solid foundation for developing strategies that articulate differentiators\, increase visibility and drive growth. For nearly a decade\, she led the AEC practice at a national branding and marketing firm where she collaborated with many of ENR’s Top Firms. After a short sabbatical\, Sylvia joined one of those ENR Top Firms and is now with Timmons Group. Sylvia is a nationwide speaker and is the co-author of various marketing books. \nRegister Now
