Not Nontraditional: Women In The Building Trades (Preservation Maryland)

According to the Department of Labor, construction is a “nontraditional” career field for women because they account for fewer than 25% of the registered workforce. This misconception erases women’s contribution to historic structures and disservices present-day women working in building trades. This webinar will delve into women’s roles in construction, historically and today.
