Join AIA Baltimore’s Committee on the Environment (COTE) for a tour of the floating wetlands in the Baltimore inner harbor on September 22, 2026 at 4:00 pm.  This is a technical marvel that is self contained, adjusting to growing weight from oyster beds grown on the structure, varying tidal water levels, and changing weather and temperatures.  The marsh plant and oyster beds substantially filter the water of the inner harbor and provide a place of beauty at a former shipping pier.

Please note we will be meeting at The Center for Architecture and Design and walking down to the Inner Harbor Wetlands as a group.
